One of the biggest advantages of staying at Legends Golf Course & Villas is that your golf getaway doesn't have to end when you walk off the 18th green.
The Texas Hill Country is home to some of the state's best wineries, and several are just a short drive from Kingsland. Whether you're looking for a relaxing afternoon after your morning round, planning an outing with your spouse, or giving the non-golfers in your group something fun to do, a winery visit is the perfect addition to your stay.
Below are some of our favorite wineries within about a 60-minute drive of Legends. They're close enough to enjoy without turning your golf trip into a road trip.

Turn Your Golf Trip Into a Hill Country Getaway
One of the things we love most about Legends is that golf is only part of the experience.
Many of our guests enjoy an early morning round before spending the afternoon exploring the Texas Hill Country. Others visit a winery on arrival or before heading home. Because everything is so close, it's easy to combine championship golf with one of the region's signature experiences without spending your day in the car.
If you're planning a Stay & Play getaway, consider leaving a little room in your itinerary. A great round of golf followed by an afternoon at a local winery has become one of our favorite ways to experience the Hill Country, and we think you'll enjoy it just as much.
